Just have a little midnight poem about a friend I had. We were inseparable, until she and her family stopped talking to us.
Friendships Fade
I always thought that you were my friend
Never really pictured us coming to an end
See, I knew you forever
But that didn't seem to matter
You acted like I ruined your life
I so did not and that wouldn't even give you the right
And we were born days apart
Spending time in each others hearts
Never got to that special age
Where we could say we're one in the same
We were best friends set for forever
But I guess in your eyes, that didn't matter
Friendships fade, and I guess ours did
But now I realize, we were just kids
9 years old
And the end
